This beautiful classic S&S “Cariño” was built by the same family that is now selling it with a heavy heart. She is very well cared for, as Cariño has been another member of the family. The constant good maintenance and refits can be seen reflected, as she is in almost immaculate condition and ready to sail. The owner loves to sail alone, but also his family and children enjoy spending time at sea, as she is very easy to handle and very spacious for her size.
Everything from the rigging to the engine, from the teak to the lines, is new. During 2022 and 2023, a multitude of upgrades and maintenance was done, to leave her immaculate.

Once below deck, on the port side there is a fully functional and spacious galley, along with a cozy and spacious salon. The galley features a two burner stove, oven, two sinks, very spacious stainless steel counter top and plenty of storage space. The living room offers a lovely feeling of comfort and functionality for hanging out with friends and family. You can find plenty of space for storage, as well as being able to convert one of the two sofas into a bed to accommodate an extra guest.
Located on the starboard side of the salon, we can find the chart table and navigation station. On the same side and further aft we find the work area, with plenty of tools, drawers, and a large table to work.
At the stern and bow, we find the two cabins, both double and with bathroom.
The rudder in the center of the cockpit is designed to offer the greatest safety and comfort to the crew. Around the cockpit 4 Lewmar winches are displayed, allowing easy trimming of sails and lines. Most of the deck fittings are recessed. The deck is teak and is in excellent condition. The deck aft of the cockpit is also pleasantly spacious, where you can sunbathe or enjoy a cocktail in the boat’s custom chairs. It has a long and comfortable bathing ladder to enjoy a refreshing swim in the clearest waters. At the bow, with a very free and spacious layout, it has 3 large hatches, both for safety and for the pleasant maintenance of the interior cabin.
The first owners described to Rod Stephens what they wanted their boat to look like:
“A manageable boat for two crew, large enough to stow all the necessary equipment on board. Looking for maximum comfort to avoid tiredness and fatigue. A hull shape that would allow passing over the wave without detriment to speed. Stability. Minimal pitching. Sailing with little wind and bow. A spacious and comfortable cockpit. Intimate, where to isolate from the outside to read, write, chat and plan. The boat had to be aesthetically pleasing and safe.”
