Sunbeam 44

This beautiful interior is made of hand-crafted mahogany, usually only found in traditional all-wooden yachts. Note the all teak floor. The saloon settee is upholstered in dark, blue-colored textile and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The galley to port is crew friendly and equipped with all the ship’s cook could require. The work area is spacious with plenty of storage in cupboards and drawers. Large aft owners en-suite cabin with full size bed, excellent mattresses and cozy seating on both sides.

The helm in the centre cockpit is designed for crew safety and to protect against waves entering the cockpit. Around the cockpit there are 4 x Harken electric winches mounted, where sheets and trim lines can be trimmed at the touch of a button. Most of the deck fittings are flush-mounted. The halyard redirection and genoa reef lines are tunneled and lead into the cockpit giving a highly desirable, almost flat deck clear from clutter and hazards. The deck is laid with glued teak and sun lounger cushions can be placed on the cabin top. The deck aft of the cockpit is also pleasantly spacious, with substantial storage in the twin lazarettes and two nice seats built into aft pulpit. The modern transom with integrated platforms is not only very convenient for diving and swimming, but also a safety factor as it is easy with integrated ladder to get onboard.

The spacious and thoughful layout of this Sunbeam 44 is designed for both comfort and safety. The center cockpit is safe, high above water and provides good shelter at sea. High-quality winches and hardware ensure smooth sail adjustments, while the teak deck adds a touch of luxury and provides secure footing. Below decks the galley is located at aft port and a chart table to starboard. The ample saloon is amidships, with a L-shape sofa to port, foldable table in the middle and smaller sofa to starboard. Forward to the bow a forward guest cabin where 1 double and 1 single bed can be found. Guest head with shower is located at the very front. The owners en-suite cabin is found in the aft and can be reach by passages on both side of the engine compartment.
