This Seaton 64 Trawler was built by Nelson Yachts and designed by Steve Seaton. They over engineered and spec’d the whole boat to very high standards and to ensure she could cruise the world. All the machinery and equipment was built and installed to make the vessel self-sufficient for long range exploring.
The vessel was designed around the brief to provide all necessary systems that are strong and seaworthy. This was to create a non-professional atmosphere but to also ensure the safety, reliability and comfort for all 7 passengers.
She is waiting in San Diego, California, USA and is currently owned by a LLC.

Exterior
This Seaton 64 Trawler is built for strength! She has a hull cored from fibreglass which is up to 2 inches thick. The superstructure is also cored from fibreglass. The bridge, fly and masts are made from marine grade aluminium. The entire vessel is very well thermally insulated for the colder voyages.
She has a large swim platform aft but this can also be used as a sunbathing area or a boarding area for tenders.
Even with this grand structure, she can still cruise at 8 knots and with a maximum speed of 11 knots.
The exterior space provides an area aft for outdoor dining, and the fly has large sofas and a navigation centre for voyages in the warmer parts of the world.
Interior
The interior has a large, open galley which overlooks the comfortable saloon. This saloon has a lovely dining space built in red leather with a 23k Gold, eight candle chandelier. The main saloon is custom built with a French chenille goose down sofa positioned towards the SAMSUNG flat screen TV but also being able to see the amazing exterior views. In the saloon; in front of the galley, is a breakfast bar. This bar has: a refrigerator, ice maker, sink with an insta-hot water and granite counter tops.
The bridge, as expected, over looks the bow with a chart table and all relevant navigating equipment.
There is plenty of natural light that bounces off the wood to create an open atmosphere, even in the cabins. This vessel has 4 cabins. One master cabin, 2 guest cabins and 1 crew/guest cabin.
Layout and Features
Same as the saloon, all the cabins are equipped with air-conditioning. There are 3 + 1 cabins with 5 bathrooms along side.
The master cabin is a large queen berth with black-out curtains made from silk. There is also an escape hatch which leads to the foredeck.
The two guest cabins are different to each other. One has a twin bunk berths with leather headboards, side lights, individuals tables, lots of storage space and a large mirror. The other guest cabin is a raised queen berth with a hidden ladder to enter and exit the bed. This also has lots of storage space, including space for luggage.
The crew cabin which can also be used for guests, is a single berth. This comes also with storage space behind double mirror doors.
The full-beam galley has stainless steel worktops with: 4 burner electric stove top, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer and a rubbish compactor.
