NIKAIA is in mint conditions, one of the best maintained SWAN 48 there is. The current owner took very good care of her and invested in her refits. New Rod rigging, new B&G Plotters, new inverter and batteries, change of toilettes and tubes, new black water tank (never been used), new lines, underwater Gelshiled paint (5x), Antifouling, new Generator (2014)
When the boat was last hauled out, the engine hours were 680 with the generator being 300.
This Nautor’s Swan 48 originates from the most iconic Swan in 1971. She was designed by one of the best nautical designers at the time, Sparkman & Stephens of New York. This Swan 48, like others, is designed for racing but also for family friendly world cruising.
This is a magnificent SWAN for sale and she is based in Northern Germany. Video available on request.

LIFESTYLE ON THE SWAN 48
The wrap around teak provides easy access to the whole deck, as well as space to enjoy the sun during sailing. The cockpit is also teak flooring with steering and seating close to provide a good entertainment area.

Interior
THE ARCHITECTURE OF FREEDOM
NIKAIAS interior is designed with maximum hatches to fully take advantage of the sunlight. The fixings are to the highest standard and adds to the aesthetic instead of being a distraction.
This layout, uses the space inside efficiently and effectively. With the master cabin at the stern and the two twin cabins at the bow; the saloon and galley utilise the rest of the space usefully to still have walking space between all areas. The galley is equipped with a 3-flame gas cooker, with stove, electric remote gas shut-off valve and mechanical gas shut-off valve.
SOPHISTICATED ALL-WEATHER DESIGN
Having a boat that can withstand the change in weather is important. The new teak has been designed and implemented in a way to ensure surface run-off.
This Swan 48 can move through the waves in a controlled and stable manor due to its renowned keel, rudder and hull.
Layout
MASTER CABIN
The master cabin is a double berth, with storage space and head with separate shower stall.
GUEST CABIN
The two twin guest cabins are located at the bow, side by side and share a bathroom.
SALOON
Saloon follows the guest cabins with a full functional galley and dining area on port side – the starboard contains the extra sofa for more seating.
