Carrera S boasts a sophisticated interior with three cabins, finished in Anegre veneer and upgraded with new timberwork, upholstery, and modernized fixtures. On deck, she offers twin carbon wheels, a hydraulic swim platform with hot/cold shower, and a clean, efficient layout with recessed hardware and underdeck control lines.
Performance systems include a carbon rig by Southern Spars, new rod rigging (2018), a comprehensive Doyle sail wardrobe, and full B&G electronics suite with autopilot, AIS, Iridium GO, and Expedition navigation software. Additional features include a watermaker, shore power system, extensive battery banks, and Category 1 offshore safety inventory.

The interior of the Marten 49’ Carrera S was extensively refitted to improve comfort while keeping weight low for performance. The joinery is made from lightweight composite panels finished with Anegre veneer, and the floors were refinished in teak during the 2018 refit. Fixtures and fittings throughout the boat were updated, giving the interior a clean and modern look that matches the yacht’s performance focus.
The hull and superstructure are built from carbon fiber, providing a strong and lightweight construction suitable for offshore racing and long-distance cruising.

The forward master cabin has a double berth, a settee, storage space, and an en-suite head with an electric toilet and shower.
Two aft guest cabins each include a double berth with a removable pipe cot above, as well as hanging lockers and cockpit ports. These cabins share a second head with a shower and updated fixtures.
All berths include lee cloths or pipe cots for offshore use.
Galley
The galley is located to starboard, just aft of the saloon. It features an acrylic worktop, a stainless steel sink with hot/cold pressurized water and a freshwater foot pump, a 50L front-opening fridge, a 75L top-loading freezer, and a gimballed three-burner gas stove with oven. There are deep drawers and overhead lockers for storage.
Saloon
The saloon includes settees on both sides with storage and new upholstery from the 2018 refit. The layout is simple and open, providing comfortable seating and easy access during both cruising and racing.
