The Jongert 21S Serenity of Sea features a fully enclosed middle cockpit with fixed windows, providing protection and visibility. It is partly covered by a fixed roof and a Bimini top, offering shade and comfort. Additionally, there is a sunbathing area located in front of the wheelhouse, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.
The deck is constructed with teak on steel, providing durability and a classic appearance. A capstan is located on the foredeck, which was reworked in 2023 to ensure optimal functionality. The deck also features two Dorade exhausts for the galley area, promoting proper ventilation. Additionally, the main anchor, a CQR, is installed below the bow, ensuring secure anchoring capabilities.
Rigging and Sails:
The vessel features a ketch rig with an in-mast furling system by Rondal. It is equipped with a hydraulic genoa and jib furler, with the jib featuring a self-tacking arrangement for ease of handling. A spinnaker pole is stored on the mast, and the sails are made of Dacron for durability and performance.
